The Cardano Impact Financial Inclusion Fund follows an investment policy focused on financial inclusion, aiming to enhance the financial situation and self-reliance of small entrepreneurs and households in emerging and developing countries. The fund invests through the Cardano Impact Financial Inclusion Fund (I) in financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing and emerging economies by providing loans to financial institutions. The fund has financed approximately 49 financial institutions in 25 countries, which in turn provided loans to over 7 million people, 83% of whom were women and 71% of whom lived in rural areas. The fund contributes to seven of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
